The champagne-cork closure allows this pale, dry ale to mature over time, gaining a complexity that the 33cl bottling never attains.
Hoegaarden Forbidden Fruit (33cl, 8.8%abv)
Dark red-brown in colour, malty but soon develops into more fruity notes, with red berries predominant, slightly sweet with a chocolatly finish. Strengh is hidden well and certainly has a kick.
